The P88 Store

by Lieza

One fine Sunday afternoon, my mom and I decided to have our hair curled. To maintain it, we figured that we might need to buy hair rollers.

In Alabang Town Center, we spotted this Japanese P88 store that sells home and supplies stuff (which you think you need, but really, they’re just junk), so upon entering, my mom asked,
“Meron ba kayong rollers?”

The saleslady by the door told us to look in the “supplies” section, but when I got there, all I saw where pencils, pen, and other school supplies stuff.

My mom asked another saleslady, “san yung mga rollers nyo?”

The saleslady went to the same area and told us in her istorbo-ka-naman tone, “Eto po Ma’am oh, HENDE nyo po NAKETA?” and was pointing at – a ruler.
